I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at Polytechnique Montréal affiliated to the SCALE-AI chair held by Professor Thibaut Vidal. Prior to that, I received a PhD in Applied Mathematics from INSA and INRIA Rennes under the supervision of Cédric Herzet, Clément Elvira , and Ayse-Nur Arslan. I earned an MSc in Applied Mathematics from INSA Rennes where I also followed a research program to collaborate with academic researchers for two years before graduating.
My work mainly focuses on mathematical optimization methods for both mixed-integer and convex problems related to machine learning applications. I currently investigate how decision trees can be used to solve combinatorial optimization problems exactly. I also collaborate with NASA on a spacecraft routing problem for space debris remediation. Since my PhD, I am also involved in the development of state-of-the-art combinatorial optimization methods to solve L0-norm problems used for feature selection tasks in machine learning, signal processing, and statistics.
