Postdoctoral Researcher in Optimization and Machine Learning at Polytechnique Montreal, Canada
I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at Polytechnique Montréal affiliated to the Scale-AI chair held by Thibaut Vidal. Prior to that, I received a PhD in Applied Mathematics at INRIA Rennes under the supervision of Cédric Herzet, Clément Elvira and Ayşe-Nur Arslan. I earned an Engineering Degree (MSc equivalent) specialized in Applied Mathematics from INSA Rennes where I also followed a research program to work with academic researchers for two years before graduating.
My works mainly focus on mathematical optimization with both convex and mixed-integer problems related to various applications, including machine learning and signal processing. I was particularity interested in sparse optimization problems involving the L0-norm during my PhD. For my postdoctoral position, I am working on building decision trees to solve instances of mixed-integer programs in polynomial time.
